Is soft tissue therapy soft?
No. Soft tissue therapy is not necessarily soft.
The term 'soft' refers to the soft tissues in our body made up of the fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, connective tissue, joints etc.
The methods used by Griffin Soft Tissue Therapy are gentle yet effective. They provide lasting relief from tissue strain and stress.
What can soft tissue therapy help with?
Griffin Soft Tissue Therapy can also help with relaxation, well-being and scar mobility.
What is scar mobility and why is it needed?
When scars from injury or surgery heal, they can cause adhesions which restrict movement and functionality of the area.
This is especially helpful with C-Section scars where several layers of deep muscle have been cut through. Gentle pressure is applied to the area and by applying a range of small movements, the fascia begins to loosen up around the scar. This improves scar mobility and helps with an increased range of movement.
