Soft Tissue Therapy
Soft Tissue Therapy is more than just a Sports Massage, it's a person centred approach to the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of minor and chronic musculoskeletal pain and injury.
So whether you're an athlete, manual worker, or someone looking to enjoy your hobbies again, I have the expertise to assist you.

Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a healing technique of traditional East Asian medicine. Using a smooth instrument, lubricated skin is firmly stroked in one direction to improve circulation and remove toxins.
Numerous benefits include resolving spasms and pain, promoting normal circulation to the muscles, tissues and organs directly beneath the area treated as well as reducing inflammation and inducing an increased immune response.
At Griffin Soft Tissue Therapy, I treat my clients like family. I believe in building strong relationships and providing personalised care. I treat everyone as an individual and am dedicated to understanding your unique needs and creating a comfortable environment for your treatment sessions.

Treatments

Initial Assessment
£50
New or Returning Customers (60 mins)
This appointment begins with an initial, informal consultation, where we discuss the problem and potential causes/treatments.
I am here to listen to your concerns and advise you to seek medical specific treatment if needed.
This is then followed by appropriate soft tissue therapy techniques and any recommendations for further appointments and rehabilitation exercises to do at home.

Soft Tissue Therapy/Sports Massage
£30 - £50
(30 - 60 minutes)
In this appointment we will carry out further treatment as discussed in the initial consultation and exchange feedback on a continuing plan of action, any new or returning pains or any other concerns you may have moving forward.

Gua Sha/Advanced Soft Tissue Therapy
£35 - £60
(30 - 60 minutes)
30 minutes is ideal for a smaller area or where time is limited, we will focus solely on using Gua Sha techniques.
A 60 minute appointment will incorporate Gua Sha alongside regular soft tissue techniques as a more holistic approach.
The effects of Gua Sha can be almost instant so we will exchange feedback throughout the session, as well as a continuing plan of action and post treatment self care.

Testimonials
"Mae has been helping me for over a year now. I wouldn't go to anyone else!
She is professional, kind and always gets to the bottom of the problem. I would highly recommend you trying Mae if you have a soft tissue problem."
Helen N
"Mae is absolutely fantastic!
She takes the time to listen and then explains what she is doing and why.
After just one session my issue is much improved and I feel like I understand it more. Mae worked hard to release the tension I was carrying in my arms and shoulders that were contributing to the pain in my elbow.
Thanks so much for giving me my life back!"
Becky T
"I've been visiting Mae for over a year now. I've got a pretty physical job and have plenty of niggles to sort out.
My chronic golfers elbow in both arms is long gone (I thought it was something I'd have to live with). Every time I come away with a new range of movement I'd forgotten I ever had.
Couldn't recommend highly enough."
